Hello Zhang,
Thank you for posting question on Microsoft Windows Forum!
Based on the issue description as well as the provided screenshots. The potential cause for the symptom highly probably points to a software-level blockage, most commonly a missing or corrupted Wireless Display feature, firewall/service issues, or a broken Wi‑Fi Direct virtual adapter.
The suggestion here is to verify Wireless Display feature. Windows 11 sometimes does not install the Wireless Display optional feature by default. You can navigate to Settings → System → Optional Features. Search for Wireless Display. If missing, click Add a feature and install it. Then restart your PC after installation. In case, Wireless Display exists. Click it and choose Remove, then restart the PC. After restart, go back, click View features (or “Add an optional feature”), search for Wireless Display, install it, and restart again. Then try casting once more.
Another suggestion is to check Network and Input settings. Since Casting requires both devices to be on the same Wi‑Fi and the TV set to the correct input. Ensure PC and TV are connected to the same Wi‑Fi network. On TV, manually set input to Screen Mirroring/Wireless Display. Avoid Ethernet on TV if PC is on Wi‑Fi. Also, try to verify the Wi‑Fi profile is “Private” (not Public). Since Miracast uses specific ports that are blocked on Public networks by default. Navigating to Settings → Network & internet → Wi‑Fi → (your network) properties → Set Network profile type to Private. If you are on Ethernet but the TV is connected via Wi‑Fi, make sure the network is still recognized as Private.
Please note: Enterprise builds sometimes enforce stricter firewall/group policies that block casting. If you are on a corporate network, check with IT for Miracast policy restrictions. In case, your TV does not support Miracast natively, you might need a Miracast adapter/dongle (HDMI plug-in). If none of these steps work, you can consider to test casting with another Windows 11 device on the same TV. If that succeeds, the issue is specific to your PC’s configuration.
