什么是Windows Projected File System？

刚把Win10升级到1803版，发现Windows功能里多了一个“Windows Projected File System”，试着启用了后，也没找到哪里有什么变化。想请教一下，这个功能是干什么用的？

这个功能是Windows File Protection中的一个功能。

Windows Projected Filesystem又名Git Virtual File System（GVFS）。

Windows 文件保护 (WFP) 可防止程序替换重要的 Windows 系统文件。程序绝不能覆盖这些文件，因为操作系统及其他程序都要使用它们。通过保护这些文件，可以防止程序和操作系统出现问题。

这说的不是一回事吧？Win10里的这个功能是"Projected"，不是“Protected”。

而且现在还是Beta版，文件保护功能都已经有了十几年了。
