关于 64 位操作系统上的 Windows Installer
在使用 32 位或 64 位 Windows 的计算机上，Windows Installer 作为服务运行。 低于版本 2.0 的安装程序只能在 32 位操作系统上安装和管理 32 位 Windows Installer 包。 请注意，不能在 32 位操作系统上播发或安装 64 位应用程序。
必须将 Windows Installer 包指定为 32 位或 64 位包；不能指定为中性。 在使用 64 位操作系统的计算机上，Windows Installer 服务将托管在同时安装 32 位和 64 位包的 64 位进程中。 Windows Installer 在运行 64 位操作系统的计算机上安装三种类型的 Windows Installer 包：
- 仅包含 32 位组件的 32 位包。
- 包含部分 32 位组件的 64 位包。
- 仅包含 64 位组件的 64 位包。
