Definition

public:
 property System::Object ^ default[int] { System::Object ^ get(int index); void set(int index, System::Object ^ value); };
public object? this[int index] { get; set; }
public object this[int index] { get; set; }
member this.Item(int) : obj with get, set
Default Public Property Item(index As Integer) As Object

Parameters

index
Int32

The zero-based index of the property value.

Property Value

The property value at the specified index.

Exceptions

The property value is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The index is less than zero (0) or greater than the size of the collection.

Remarks

In C#, this property is the indexer for the PropertyValueCollection class.

In JScript, you can use the default indexed properties defined by a type, but you cannot explicitly define your own. However, specifying the expando attribute on a class automatically provides a default indexed property whose type is Object and whose index type is String.
