IComparable<T>.CompareTo(T) 方法

定義

將目前的執行個體與相同類型的另一個物件相比較,並傳回整數,這個整數表示目前的執行個體在排序次序中,位於另一個物件之前、之後或相同位置。

意義
小於零 這個執行個體在排序次序中會在 other 之前。

備註

CompareTo 提供強型別比較方法來排序泛型集合物件的成員。 因此,通常不會直接從開發人員程式碼呼叫。 相反地,它會由 和 Add 之類的 List<T>.Sort() 方法自動呼叫。

這個方法只是定義,而且必須由特定類別或實值型別實作,才能生效。 [傳回值] 區段中所指定的比較意義 (「之前」、「發生在與 相同的位置」,而「遵循) 取決於特定實作。

根據定義,任何物件都會比較大於 null ,而兩個 Null 參考會彼此相等。

給實施者的注意事項

針對物件 A、B 和 C,下列專案必須是 true:

A.CompareTo(A) 需要傳回零。

如果傳 A.CompareTo(B) 回零,則需要 B.CompareTo(A) 傳回零。
