編碼或解碼作業失敗的常見原因是基礎編碼類別未提供字元與對等位元組序列之間的對應。 例如, ASCIIEncoding 物件無法解碼大於0x7F的位元組值。 如果輸入位元組序列無法轉換成輸出字元, DecoderReplacementFallback 物件會將取代字串發出至輸出,以代表原始輸入位元組序列。 轉換程式接著會繼續解碼原始輸入的其餘部分。
