I am using a Pixel 7 android phone running on Android 16 version. When the Microsfot Work teams is launched it opens and closes immediately. I have tried the following

Clear Teams cache and app data

Force-stop and reinstall the app

Check for OS and app updates

Grant necessary permissions & disable data saver

I have finally found a solution that worked for me. I had this issue on 2 different phones and tried every solution that was listed over all social media sites and other platforms. The only one that worked for me is:

    1. Clear Cache.
    2. Turn on Airplane mode
    3. Open Teams app
    4. Go to Settings and sign out
    5. Turn off Airplane mode
    6. Open Teams and sign in again.

After that it all worked fine for me.

    Good luck.

    Mike

    Hi Chetan Velicheti

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum

I’m really sorry to hear that Microsoft Teams continues to crash immediately after launching on your mobile.

Since you have tried all the standard troubleshooting steps, yet the issue persists. At this point, Microsoft’s support team will need to step in. A technical support engineer can perform a remote session to investigate the situation verify the backend configurations, and run any necessary synchronization tools to resolve the problem. If the issue requires further attention, they can escalate it to a specialized team for deeper analysis.

Please reach out to your organization's IT Admin to create a service request with Microsoft support to get advanced technical assistance and diagnostics. For detailed instructions on how to get support, please refer to Get support - Microsoft 365 admin.

    Note:

    • If you’re an end-user, please coordinate with your Office 365 Global Administrator to handle these steps.
    • If you’re unsure who the Global Admin is within your organization, you can find guidance on locating them here: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support.

Apologies for redirecting you to the related development team support as the moderators in this community have limited resources to check the backend information, and to get the fast and better assistance we requested for it. Appreciate your patience and understanding

I have tried all that was mentioned by AI and mentioned it in my ticket. The AI again mentioned the same.
