AI Skills Fest 2026 Badge Rejected After Credly Account Recreation

Hello Microsoft Team,

I successfully completed the requirements for the Microsoft AI Skills Fest 2026 badge and received the badge invitation email.

However, I accidentally created a Credly account with the incorrect profile name "Tanushree Saha". After realizing the mistake, I deleted that Credly account and created a new Credly account with my correct name, "Rajashree Saha".

When I try to claim the AI Skills Fest 2026 badge using the badge invitation email, Credly displays the message: "You've already rejected that badge." As a result, the badge does not appear in my Credly dashboard and I am unable to claim it.

My details are:

Name: Rajashree Saha

Email address used for the badge invitation: [[Removed PII]@gmail.com]

Badge: Microsoft AI Skills Fest 2026

I would be grateful if you could reissue the badge invitation or advise me on how to associate the badge with my current Credly account.

I can provide screenshots of the badge email and the Credly error message if required.

Thank you for your assistance.

When creating your initial Credly account you redeemed the Credly badge.

As you deleted the Credly account, the badge was deleted with it.

There is nothing that can be done by this forum as the badge was claimed and then deleted by your own actions. You could ask Credly support.

PS Credly badges do not appear on Microsoft Learn

Microsoft certifications and badges are no longer issued or managed through Credly. Certifications and their associated badges are now managed directly in Microsoft Learn.

Because of this change, issues with Credly accounts (including deleted/recreated accounts, rejected badges, or missing Credly invitations) cannot be resolved by reissuing a Credly badge. Instead, credentials should be viewed and managed in the Microsoft Learn profile.

    To verify credentials and badges:

    1. Sign in to the correct Microsoft Learn profile associated with the email used for the event or exam.
    2. Go to the Credentials section of the Learn profile to view earned certifications and Applied Skills.
    3. If a credential or event-related badge is missing, contact Microsoft Credentials Support using the official support channel provided in the documentation.

For any missing or incorrect credentials that should appear in Microsoft Learn (including event-related recognitions), use Microsoft Credentials Support so the team can review the profile and take appropriate action.
