Farm Beats fail to generate sensor map

I followed the steps to create a sensor map in the Farm Beats tech. manual. After creating the job, when the job finished, the sensor map creation (the map that should tell me where to place 3 sensors for data fusion to create heatmaps) for a field failed. The error message was as follows: DatahubErrorCodes.SentinelError: ESA Sentinel Error: HTTP status 500 Internal Server Error: UnsupportedOperationException : URL stream cannot be opened

Please ensure that you meet the following prerequisites before you attempt to generate a Sensor Placement map:

The farm size must be more than one acre. -

The number of cloud-free Sentinel scenes must be more than six for the selected date range. -

At least six cloud-free Sentinel scenes must have a Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) greater than or equal to 0.3.

Could you please confirm if you have already followed the troubleshooting guide?

I looked at the troubleshooting guide, and I wasn't able to find anything that solved my problem.

Indeed, my farm size is above one acre.

In term of the cloud-free Sentinel scenes, I am not quite sure how to confirm this. Does this involve manually requesting the generation of a satellite index map and the resulting maps be in the date range of the sensor map generation date range?

I had a dozen or so NDVI maps created from these jobs, so I tried to create a new sensor map generation job in the date range of when these NDVI maps were timestamped. From what I can tell, submitting a Sensor map creation job automatically created a job to request satellite indices (although I would have though it uses the ones already available). The satellite imagery job failed with the following error: "Unable to download scene file on local path from scene file name: raw-zip of scene type: SceneType.Sentinel2L1cRaw".

Hello,

here is an update on the progress I am making for generating the sensor maps. First of all, I think the forum post https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/606333/generate-sensors-placement-map-failed.html is similar to this thread.

The farm size is greater than on acre.

I have performed weekly drone imagery acquisition for the growing season this year. The raw images have been stitched into GeoTIFFs using PIX4D. I now plan to upload all output GeoTIFFs images into FarmBeats. Among the GeoTIFFs are NDVI GeoTIFFs. The other bands are red, green, blue, red-edge, and near-infrared. As the documentation specifies that NDVI scenes from Sentinel are required, I was wondering if drone-based NDVI imagery would also work? The documentation doesn't specify what format the Sentinel scenes are in. I imagine they are GeoTIFFs as well. I plan to ingest the imagery using the instructions found in the documentation in the Ingest imagery into FarmBeats subsection of the Imagery partner integration section.

Once I upload all the drone-based NDVI scenes of the 2021 growing season into FarmBeats, will I then be able to generate sensor maps?
