How much it cost and how sql standard CAL will work on single PC

Question

Currently I am using microsoft sql express where it has 10gb limit. I need to upgrade for more gb where i will use it in a single PC. How much it cost to upgrade for a single standalone PC and how storage space i will get.

I saw something called CAL model in standard version with price $200. How that CAL model works. Is it work on single standalone PC. Also I am using localdb available in express. I want to use same localdb with licensed way because localdb has minimal configuration.

It might look like we understand since we orders several dozens licenses ourselves, but I learned that this subject can be very complex and you better read the small letters and understand it 100% before you recommend someone. Note! For using Client Access Licence (CAL), you also need one server license. Therefore, According to the price list on site, for example for 2 users you need Server + two CAL which cost about: 899 + (2 * 209) = 1317$
