Excepciones
Se llama a este método cuando el control FormView no está en modo de edición.

Comentarios
Cuando el FormView control está en modo de edición, use el UpdateItem método para actualizar mediante programación el registro actual en el origen de datos. Este método se usa normalmente cuando es necesario actualizar el registro actual desde fuera del FormView control, como desde un control diferente de la página.
Nota
El FormView control debe estar en modo de edición cuando se llama a este método; de lo contrario, se produce una HttpException excepción .
Para especificar si la validación de página se realiza antes de la operación de actualización, use el causesValidation parámetro . Al llamar a este método también se generan los ItemUpdated eventos y ItemUpdating .
