Počet kategorií v souboru prostředků kategorie. Výchozí hodnota je nula.
Výjimky
Vlastnost je nastavena na zápornou hodnotu nebo na hodnotu větší než UInt16.MaxValue.
Příklady
Následující příklad kódu určuje, zda zdroj události pojmenovaný SampleApplicationSource je registrován v místním počítači. Pokud zdroj události neexistuje, příklad nastaví soubor prostředku zprávy pro zdroj a vytvoří nový zdroj události. K zápisu CategoryCount událostí s lokalizovanými řetězci kategorií použijte vlastnosti a CategoryResourceFile vlastnosti. Prohlížeč událostí zobrazí kategorii položky události, pokud zadáte kategorii při zápisu události. Kategorie protokolu událostí jsou řetězce definované aplikací, které pomáhají filtrovat události nebo poskytují další informace o události. Vaše aplikace může například definovat samostatné kategorie pro různé komponenty nebo různé operace.
Kategorie událostí jsou volitelné; pokud vaše aplikace nepoužívá kategorie, nenastavujte je CategoryCount a CategoryResourceFile vlastnosti.
