Následující příklad kódu ukazuje použití ErrorProvider třídy k upozorňovat uživatele na chybu zadávání dat. Příklad vytvoří Form , který obsahuje TextBox ovládací prvek, NumericUpDown ovládací prvek a ComboBox ovládací prvek, přičemž každý ověřuje jeho obsah a pro ErrorProvider každý ovládací prvek. Příklad nastaví možnosti ikony chyby pomocí BlinkRate vlastností a BlinkStyleSetIconAlignment metod a SetIconPadding metod. Poznámky

ErrorProvider představuje jednoduchý mechanismus pro indikování koncovému uživateli, že ovládací prvek ve formuláři má přidruženou chybu. Pokud je pro ovládací prvek zadán řetězec popisu chyby, zobrazí se vedle ovládacího prvku ikona. Ikona se bliká způsobem určeným parametrem BlinkStyle, a to rychlostí určenou parametrem BlinkRate. Když na ikonu najede myší, zobrazí se popis s řetězcem popisu chyby.

Obvykle se používá ErrorProvider ve spojení s ovládacími prvky vázanými na data. Při použití ErrorProvider s ovládacími prvky vázanými na data je nutné zadat ContainerControl, buď v konstruktoru, nebo nastavením ContainerControl vlastnosti.

Poznámka:

Komponenta ErrorProvider neposkytuje integrovanou podporu pro klienty přístupnosti. Pokud chcete, aby byla vaše aplikace přístupná při použití této komponenty, musíte poskytnout další přístupný mechanismus zpětné vazby.
