Poznámky
Vlastnost můžete použít Item[] také k přidání nových prvků nastavením hodnoty klíče, který ve slovníku neexistuje, například myCollection["myNonexistentKey"] = myValue
. Pokud však zadaný klíč již ve slovníku existuje, nastavení Item[] vlastnosti přepíše starou hodnotu. Naproti tomu metoda vyvolá výjimku, Add pokud zadaný klíč již existuje.
Pokud Count je menší než kapacita, tato metoda se přiblíží operaci O(1). Pokud je potřeba kapacitu zvýšit, aby se přizpůsobila novému prvku, stane se z této metody operace O(n
), kde n
je Count.
