Následující příklad používá net view
příkaz k výpisu dostupných síťových prostředků ve vzdáleném počítači. Uživatel jako argument příkazového řádku zadá název cílového počítače. Uživatel může také zadat název souboru pro výstup chyby. Poznámky
Stream StandardError lze číst synchronně nebo asynchronně. Metody, jako Readjsou , ReadLinea ReadToEnd provádějí synchronní operace čtení ve výstupním datovém proudu chyb procesu. Tyto synchronní operace čtení se nedokončí, dokud se přidružený Process datový proud nezapíše nebo StandardError dokud neuzavře datový proud.
Naproti tomu BeginErrorReadLine spustí asynchronní operace čtení ve streamu StandardError . Tato metoda povolí určenou obslužnou rutinu události pro výstup streamu a okamžitě se vrátí volajícímu, který může provádět další práci, zatímco výstup streamu je směrován na obslužnou rutinu události.
Pomocí těchto kroků proveďte asynchronní operace StandardError čtení pro Process :

Volání BeginErrorReadLine pro Process. Toto volání spustí asynchronní operace čtení v systému StandardError.
Při spuštění asynchronních operací čtení se obslužná rutina události volá pokaždé, když přidružená Process zapíše řádek textu do svého StandardError datového proudu.
Asynchronní operaci čtení můžete zrušit voláním CancelErrorRead. Operaci čtení může zrušit volající nebo obslužná rutina události. Po zrušení můžete znovu volat BeginErrorReadLine a obnovit asynchronní operace čtení.
Poznámka
Asynchronní a synchronní operace čtení u přesměrovaného datového proudu nelze kombinovat. Jakmile se přesměrovaný datový proud otevře v asynchronním Process nebo synchronním režimu, všechny další operace čtení v tomto streamu musí být ve stejném režimu. Nesledujte BeginErrorReadLine například voláním ReadLine ve streamu StandardError nebo naopak. Můžete ale číst dva různé streamy v různých režimech. Můžete například zavolat BeginErrorReadLine a pak volat ReadLine datový StandardOutput proud.
