Poznámky

Chybové zprávy cílí na vývojáře, který zpracovává výjimku. Text Message vlastnosti by měl chybu zcela popsat a pokud je to možné, měl by také vysvětlit, jak chybu opravit. Obslužné rutiny výjimek nejvyšší úrovně můžou zobrazit zprávu koncovým uživatelům, takže byste měli zajistit, aby byla gramaticky správná a aby každá věta zprávy končila tečkou. Nepoužívejte otazníky ani vykřičníky. Pokud vaše aplikace používá lokalizované zprávy o výjimce, měli byste zajistit, aby byly přesně přeloženy.

Nezveřejňujte citlivé informace ve zprávách výjimek bez kontroly příslušných oprávnění.

Hodnota Message vlastnosti je zahrnuta do informací vrácených ToString. Vlastnost Message je nastavena pouze při vytváření Exception. Pokud konstruktoru pro aktuální instanci nebyla zadána žádná zpráva, systém poskytuje výchozí zprávu, která je formátována pomocí aktuální jazykové verze systému.

Poznámky pro dědice

Vlastnost Message je přepsána ve třídách, které vyžadují kontrolu nad obsahem nebo formátem zprávy. Kód aplikace obvykle přistupuje k této vlastnosti, když potřebuje zobrazit informace o výjimce, která byla zachycena.
