Vlastnost NativeName načte úplný název jazykové verze, pokud RegionInfo je objekt vytvořen pomocí úplného názvu jazykové verze.

Pro přístup k vlastnosti doporučujeme použít název jazykové verze , například "en-US" pro angličtinu NativeName (USA). Řetězec použitý pro tuto vlastnost závisí na jazyce přidruženém k dané zemi nebo oblasti. Například názvy en-US jazykových verzí pro angličtinu (USA) a es-US pro španělštinu (USA) mohou v systému Windows Vista načíst různé hodnoty. Proto vytvoření objektu RegionInfo s pouze názvem US země nebo oblasti není dostatečně specifické pro rozlišení příslušného řetězce.
