Následující příklad kódu ukazuje inicializaci objektu ColorDialog nastavující AnyColor, AllowFullOpen vlastnosti. Objekt ColorDialog neumožňuje uživateli nastavit vlastní barvu, ale umožňuje zobrazení úplné sady základních barev. SolidColorOnly Nastavením vlastnosti na false umožňuje zobrazení barev, které jsou kombinací jiných barev v systémech s 256 nebo méně barvami. Příklad také ukazuje nastavení ShowHelp vlastnosti a zpracování HelpRequest události dialogového okna. Příklad spustíte tak, že do formuláře vložíte následující kód a zavoláte metodu InitializeColorDialog v konstruktoru nebo Load metodě formuláře. Tento příklad vyžaduje, aby Click událost tlačítka byla připojená k obslužné rutině události definované v příkladu.
