Data Entry List
Design a data entry list when you want to support users entering and managing entries in a list. Data entry lists let the user manage and make new individual entries while seeing the context of the whole collection.
Data Entry List page guidelines
From the user’s perspective, the following are qualities of a well-designed data entry list page:
Presents a grid with few enough columns that all are visible while entering and managing entries.
Has a page title that clearly identifies the shown collection of entries.
Shows columns in an order that is suited for data entry.
If a summary or additional details related to the selected row are shown, these appear below the list.
If custom viewing options are available, these appear below the list and below any given row summary/details.
