public:
virtual void AddOnEnterForwardSetVar(System::String ^ var);
public virtual void AddOnEnterForwardSetVar (string var);
abstract member AddOnEnterForwardSetVar : string -> unit
override this.AddOnEnterForwardSetVar : string -> unit
Public Overridable Sub AddOnEnterForwardSetVar (var As String)
Parameters
- var
- String
The name of a variable to be embedded in a page.
Examples
When rendering the page, the following <wml:onevent>
structure might be included in the page's markup:
<wml:onevent type="onenterforward">
<wml:refresh>
<wmlsetvar name="buttonSaveClicked" />
<wmlsetvar name="nextPage" value="3" />
</wml:refresh>
</wml:onevent>
Depending on the user's actions, the values might be modified by scripts on the page to return the following structure on postback:
<wml:onevent type="onenterforward">
<wml:refresh>
<wmlsetvar name="buttonSaveClicked" value="true" />
<wmlsetvar name="nextPage" value="9" />
</wml:refresh>
</wml:onevent>
Remarks
Certain WML devices require a <wml:onevent>
element to provide information for postback.
WML devices provide limited functionality for navigation and postback, and require WML commands and variables to be written to the page.
This method is used primarily by developers of custom mobile page and control adapters.
