ListCollectionView.IsDataInGroupOrder Property

Definition

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the list of items (after applying the sort and filters, if any) is already in the correct order for grouping.

public bool IsDataInGroupOrder { get; set; }

Property Value

true if the list of items is already in the correct order for grouping; otherwise, false.

Remarks

Setting this property to true informs the view that the list of items is already in the correct order for grouping and allows the view to use a more efficient algorithm to build the groups. The data is in the correct order if:

  1. All items belonging to a given group appear consecutively, and

  2. If the GroupNames collection is non-empty, the groups in GroupNames appear before any other groups, and in the same order as in GroupNames.
