Raises the OnMouseEnter(EventArgs) event.
protected:
override void OnMouseEnter(EventArgs ^ eventargs);
protected override void OnMouseEnter (EventArgs eventargs);
override this.OnMouseEnter : EventArgs -> unit
Protected Overrides Sub OnMouseEnter (eventargs As EventArgs)
Parameters
Remarks
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnMouseEnter method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Note
Do not call OnMouseEnter if the button is disabled (this includes call to the base class's OnMouseEnter method when you override OnMouseEnter in a derived class). When disabling the button in an override of OnMouseEnter, call the base class's OnMouseEnter method before disabling the button, or do not call it at all.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding OnMouseEnter(EventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnMouseEnter(EventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
