(PM) Autoreservation (form)

Click Sales and marketing > Common > Sales orders > All sales orders.

Use this form to manage reservations on the current item. You are notified by the program if you try to reserve more than is available for reservation. When you create a sales order line for automatic reservation against on-hand inventory, and the on-hand supply does not cover the demand from the sales order line, the Autoreservation form appears automatically.

Note

To enable automatic reservation, select Automatic in the Reservation field. This field is on the General tab on the Accounts receivable parameters form. This setting is copied to the sales order header and sales order lines. However, you can change this setting manually.

Fields

Field	Description
CW available for reservation	The quantity of the item in catch weight units that is available for reservation.
CW attempt to reserve	The quantity in catch weight units that you tried to reserve for the sales order line.
