In case I have 1 subscription and there are many VMs under this subscription, I would like to enable the Defender for Servers plan for some VMs but don't want to enable for all VMs in this subscription. Can I do like this. If can be able to enable Defender for Servers at the resource level (specific VMs in subscription) will Microsoft charge only selected VMs or charge all VMs in subscription that enable Defender for Servers plan? Any suggestions or recommendations. Thank you for helping!

    Hi,

Yes this is possible: Enable Defender for Servers at the resource level. Enable it only for the VMs that you need and you will be charged only for them. Do not enable it on the whole subscription.
