Get started with AI services in Azure AI Studio

This article describes how to get started with AI services in Azure AI Studio. You can connect to AI services in Azure AI Studio to use AI capabilities such as Azure OpenAI, Speech, Language, Translator, Vision, Document Intelligence, and Content Safety.

Go to the Home page and then select AI Services from the left pane to explore these services.

Azure AI services in Azure AI Studio

Azure AI services in Azure AI Studio provide a wide range of AI capabilities to help you build intelligent applications. You can use these services to perform a variety of tasks, such as natural language processing, computer vision, speech recognition, and translation.

Azure AI Studio supports the following AI services:

Azure OpenAI Service icon Azure OpenAI Perform a wide variety of natural language tasks.

You can connect to Azure OpenAI in several ways in Azure AI Studio. You can use Azure OpenAI in the assistants playground to create and test your own AI assistant. You can also use Azure OpenAI when you build and deploy a question and answer copilot with prompt flow in Azure AI Studio.
Content Safety icon Content Safety An AI service that detects unwanted contents.

Go to Home > AI Services > Content Safety.
Document Intelligence icon Document Intelligence Turn documents into intelligent data-driven solutions.

Go to Home > AI Services > Vision + Document.
Face icon Face Detect and identify people and emotions in images.

Go to Home > AI Services > Vision + Document.
Language icon Language Build apps with industry-leading natural language understanding capabilities.

Go to Home > AI Services > Language + Translator.
Speech icon Speech Give your apps the ability to hear, understand, and even talk to your customers with features like speech to text and text to speech.

Go to Home > AI Services > Speech.

Translator icon Translator Use AI-powered translation technology to translate more than 100 in-use, at-risk, and endangered languages and dialects.

Go to Home > AI Services > Language + Translator.
Vision icon Vision Analyze content in images and videos.
