Question

I signed up for 365 in error and was charge $99. I have no use for this can you help me unsubscribe.

To unsubscribe from Microsoft 365 and seek a refund for the $99 charge, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Services & subscriptions page for Microsoft 365:
   • https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365
2. Sign in using the same Microsoft account that was used to purchase the Microsoft 365 subscription.
3. Find the Microsoft 365 subscription under Services & subscriptions and select Manage.
   • If instead of Manage there is Turn on recurring billing, the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and will not be charged again.
4. Select Cancel subscription (it might appear as Upgrade or Cancel).
5. Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation. Access to Microsoft 365 continues until the end of the current billing period.

To check if a refund is possible:

1. The subscription must be canceled first as above.
2. After cancellation, refund eligibility depends on Microsoft’s subscription refund policy and the region. Some countries offer prorated refunds for Microsoft 365 subscriptions. Details are in the cancellation and refund documentation.

If the subscription was purchased through a third party (for example, Google Play, Apple App Store, or a retailer such as Amazon or Best Buy), cancellation and any refund must be requested directly from that provider using their support and refund processes.
