Hey there! Nice to meet you!

I'm sorry you are experiencing this.

Since the security info has been replaced by the hacker, I'm afraid there is no other working method to recover the Microsoft account, and Microsoft Support cannot help either.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,

Darhyl

Follow these steps to try to recover and secure the hacked Microsoft account that is used for Minecraft:

    1. Run a malware/virus scan on the PC
      • Before changing any passwords, scan Windows 11 with an antivirus app.
      • If using Windows Security/Defender, open Start, search for “Windows Defender” and run a full scan to make sure there is no malware that could steal the new password.
    2. Use the official hacked-account recovery guide
      • Follow the steps in How to recover a hacked or compromised Microsoft account. This is the official process Microsoft uses when an account’s email, name, or security info has been changed by someone else.
      • If sign-in is still possible, immediately change the password to a strong one and review all security info.
    3. Try to reset the password if sign-in fails
      • On the Microsoft sign-in page, select Forgot my password and then choose I think someone else is using my Microsoft account.
      • Complete the recovery form with as much accurate information as possible (old passwords, approximate creation date, devices used, etc.). This is critical for proving ownership.
    4. If the hacker changed security info (email/phone)
      • If the account shows a “security info change pending” message, use the options on that screen:
        • Cancel this request if the change was started by mistake and the old security info is still accessible.
        • Let us know if the change was not done by the owner; this triggers the “unauthorized change” flow.
      • If access to Manage how you sign in is possible, remove any email aliases or usernames that are not recognized.
    5. Check recent activity and secure the account
      • After regaining access, go to the Security basics page and open Recent activity to review sign-ins.
      • Mark any activity that was not done by the owner as This wasn’t me or Secure your account so Microsoft can help protect it.
    6. Add safer sign-in methods once access is restored
      • On the Advanced security options page, add another way to sign in or verify identity (for example, an additional email, phone, or Microsoft Authenticator).
      • Make sure all security contact info is up to date so recovery is easier if this happens again.
    7. If recovery keeps failing
      • If the recovery form and hacked-account guide do not work and the hacker has fully replaced the security info, there may be no further method to recover that Microsoft account.
      • In that case, contact Minecraft Support separately about the Minecraft license to see if they can offer any options for the game itself.
