Although I do have a personal MSN account, I need to speak with a live agent regarding my former business account.

    Hi Yolanda Santiago,

Microsoft provides a dedicated support line for business account owners. You can contact them using the phone number listed at Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Supportbased on your location.

Here are some tips, along with an example prompt, to help you navigate the IVR more effectively. You can adjust the wording based on your specific needs.

(When you call the support number, you may hear an introduction of about 30 seconds such as "you can visit the link...". You can ignore this introduction and wait until you are presented with the options. Then press "1" as a business email user, and again "1" for technical help.)

IVR: What kind of problem are you concerned about?

    You: Billing.

A: What products do you use?

    You: Office 365 for business.

    Verification: Education or company account?

    You: For companies

    IVR: Are you an administrator?

    You: Yes.

IVR: Are there any other administrators in your organization?

    You: No.

IVR: Do you need a... Service request?

You: Yes. I need to create a ticket. Please send me directly to the BIlling Team.

I hope this provides enough clarity and helps you stay inform with your current situation.

In the meantime, if you see my replies bring helpful information, please kindly accept it as an answer and vote it up by your original account, which raised this question. Once marked, it will automatically pin to top. As other users will also search information in this community, your valuable vote up will definitely also help other users who have similar queries easily to find the correct channel and useful information more quickly.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments on this post so I can continue to support you.

To speak with a live agent about a former Microsoft 365 business account and billing, use one of these supported contact paths:

    1. Use the Microsoft 365 admin center (if still an admin on that business tenant)
      • Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center and sign in with the business/admin account if possible.
      • Select Support > Help and support.
      • Enter a brief description (for example, “billing for former business account”) and select Contact support.
      • Choose the option to Chat or request a Call from a support agent.
    2. Use the general Microsoft Support contact flow
      • Go to the main Microsoft Support contact page: Contact – Microsoft Support.
      • In the search box, type a short description such as “business account billing”.
      • Select Get Help, then scroll down and choose Contact support.
      • Under Products & Services, select the appropriate category (for example, Microsoft 365 & Office).
      • Under Category, choose an account/billing-related option (such as Manage my subscription or Manage account security, depending on the issue).
      • Confirm, then choose Chat with a support agent in your web browser or the Call me back option if offered.
    3. If needing Office/Microsoft 365-specific help
      • For Microsoft 365 for business, sign in to the admin center as above and use Support > Help and support to reach an agent.
      • For additional help paths, see the “Microsoft 365 for business” section under Contact Microsoft Office Support, which directs to admin-center-based support and global support phone numbers for admins.

If the former business subscription is fully closed and admin access is lost, use the general Contact – Microsoft Support path, sign in with any available Microsoft account, and clearly state that the question concerns a former business subscription so the agent can route the case correctly.
