How to enable the "set time zone automatically" for all users on Azure

Our devices are all managed by Azure DevOps. All of our US employees are remotely based and travel frequently, both domestically and internationally. Currently, our devices all have the "set time zone automatically" option disabled (it's "grayed out"). This is obviously problematic for traveling since calendars are tied to the device's internal time zone. And yes, our location services are enabled. When we reached out to our own IT team, the reply was that Microsoft said that the auto time zone functionality is "not available on AD." I reached out to Azure support on Twitter (X) and was sent here.

Is it true that the auto time zone feature isn't available on Azure? If so, where can I request it be allowed since it's a standard feature on a normal Windows device? If it is possible to enable that feature, what is the process? Can it be done internally or does our IT team need to go into each individual computer to change it? Are there other workarounds short of unenrolling devices from Azure?

Thank you in advance! Any guidance would be much appreciated.

@Jon Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, it is by design. Non-administrator users cannot change or interact with the Set time zone automatically setting. The setting is either not visible or is "greyed out" in the Settings app. This is by design as the Set time zone automatically setting is a system wide setting that applies to all user profiles on a machine. Here are some methods can enable this setting, please refer to the following article:

    Hope it is helpful.
