Anyone experiencing regular Teams app crash when using on iMac using Monterrey OS?

Every teams call I have - about 20 minutes in - the app crashes and I have to restart app, reconnect to meeting only to find I am on the call twice.

Nickels, thanks for the answer. I tried both paths to turn off the Auto Updater but both yielded a Grayed Out button. I might not have Admin privileges or ?? Will keep trying.
    Thanks for the support

Dear Microsoft Teams support. This issue has been happening for more than 6 months. even updating all the macOS platform and your Teams app to the latest version didn't fix it
Application reinstall, clear cache, reboots, and reinstall office, are not fixing the issue.

When we will be having a solution for this? Initially, I thought it was my Macbook Pro 2016, but then happened the same with my MacbookPro 2021... and so on. What's happening?

    Thanks!

I think I may have figured out the source of the problem. I disabled the MACOS Microsoft AutoUpdate tool and I stopped having the issue. Teams was listed as one of the applications it was updating. I seem to be on the latest version of Teams. I have been getting notifications that something went wrong when we tried to download updates. If I enabled this, I believe it would start the loop of pain again.

Has there been a solution to this? So far none of the previously mentioned suggestions have worked:

    • Remove Teams cache
    • Remove Teams credentials and force re-login
    • Uninstall Office and re-install from scratch
    • Reset my Mac

    Microsoft... Solution????
