Microsoft Teams app crashing on Mac OS Monterrey

Anyone experiencing regular Teams app crash when using on iMac using Monterrey OS?

Every teams call I have - about 20 minutes in - the app crashes and I have to restart app, reconnect to meeting only to find I am on the call twice.

    I have seen the same issue. I am joining meetings through the browser for the time being.

    I have been having lot of issues with my teams on MAC Book pro - Monterey. Teams freezes , call drops in the middle every 2 to 3 minutes. I have done the following but no luck so far. Have been using Microsoft Teams app only.

    • Deleted Teams cache
    • Reinstalled Teams
    • Reinstalled Teams to previous version @1.4
    • Changed WiFi Connectivity

    Any other suggestions ?

    I also am having this issue on MacOS Monterrey 12.5.1 where when i join a video call or share my screen the app will crash unexpectedly. It does not fully close the app but closes the session over and over. This does not occur on my windows 10 pc which is sitting directly next to it.

    Very frustrating and causing issues where I have to use my Win10 PC. Bummer.

    I have been having this issue for about 3 weeks as well.
    Tried the following, without success:

    • Remove Teams cache
    • Remove Teams credentials and force re-login
    • Uninstall Office and re-install from scratch
    • Reset my Mac

    I reset my Mac yesterday, and the issue happened again straight away.

    MacOS version: Monterey 12.5.1 (latest)

    It's extremely annoying, in particular when it happens with customers. I have to take meetings from my phone or the online Teams version.

    Can somebody please help, I have the same issue - MS Teams freezing (I can hear others but all buttons are not active and I can't unmute or mute), frustrating, :(. MacBook Pro (2020), M1 - MacOS Monterey 12.4. It only happens on Mac (my phone works well but not many Teams functionalities). sad
