Double-click problem on Teams

Hi,

I've been dealing with a problem since I bought a new Macbook. Yesterday, I read the same problem on the Community page ("Teams on Mac intermittently requires a double-click on in-meeting buttons to take effect") and I applied the solution (Sorry to hear about this issue. You may try clearing the Teams cache using the instructions for your device outlined in the linked document below. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams...).

Yet, nothing has changed. What should I do?

Hello! My name is Mustafa, and I am an Independent Advisor as well as a long-time Microsoft user. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue, and I am hopeful that I will be able to help you find a satisfactory solution.

if that didn't work then I would recommend you uninstall and reinstall the latest version of teams.

Also, do you have to double-click to open other files or applications?

if yes, than it could be an issue with your mac settings and not a teams issue.

Please let me know if this doesn't work or if you need further assistance.

    Warm Regards,

    Mustafa

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

Although I had the latest version, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app again. Unfortunately, I'm dealing with the same issues. When I use Teams on Chrome, I don't encounter any problems. To be precise let me give you more details.

During a meeting, if I share a web page (especially one with a video), in-meeting buttons (camera, mic, share, more, etc.) don't function. They don't respond unless I double-click. I need to double-click every button I want to use. However, it becomes problematic with the buttons where I need to see the list of actions. For example, I cannot "end" a meeting because I cannot click on the arrow and choose the action. Same with the "more" button. When I double-click it, I cannot see the list and choose what I need. It's quite odd that I have these issues with my new Macbook (M2). I have no problems with the old one.

can you uninstall and reinstall teams on your mac to see if the issue persists?

I would suggest you download it again from the web.

Let me know if this fixes your issue.

    Hi Mustafa,

As I mentioned in my previous reply, I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing has changed.

    What should I do next?
