Dear Sirs,

I need help with the Invoice No: <removed> I paid the license form my small business with my business card as a legal representative and put my name in a field of card holder name.

My accounting team doesn't accept the invoice with the quote sold to Jelena PII Removed instead of sold to PII Removed ( the company name).

I need a help with changing these information on the invoice <removed> from 4th of November 2025.

Thank You,

Jelena PII Removed

    Dear @Sweet Family doo,

Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

Based on your message, I understand that you need assistance updating the invoice details as your accounting team requires the invoice to reflect the company name instead of an individual name.

Regarding your situation, for assistance with updating invoice details, please reach out to our Billing Team, as they are the appropriate department to handle invoice corrections and ensure compliance with your accounting requirements.

To resolve this, Microsoft’s Billing Support team will need to step in. They can review your account profile, update invoice details and reissue corrected documents.

As forum moderators, we don’t have access to billing systems or customer records due to privacy and security constraints. For that reason, the most efficient solution is to contact Microsoft Billing Support directly.

Here's what your Global or Billing Admin should do next: (Please refer to this article if you're an end-user: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin?)

Submit a Billing Service Request: Please include these details in your ticket:

    • Invoice No: xxx (dated 4 Nov 2025)

Correct Sold‑to name (company name instead of individual)

Context: paid with business card as legal representative

Tenant domain and subscription ID (if available)

    Reason for correction (accounting compliance)

For detailed instructions, refer to: Get support for Microsoft 365 for business

I hope this helps with your situation.

Kindly let me know when there are updates or if you need further assistance. Any updates you’re able to share would be really helpful. I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing how things are going!

Thank you for your time and patience.

To correct the invoice with the number PII Removed, you will need to follow these steps:

    1. Open a support ticket: Sign in to the Partner Center and submit a support ticket regarding the invoice correction.
    2. Provide justification: Clearly explain the reason for the correction, mentioning that the invoice needs to reflect the correct company name (Sweet family doo) instead of your personal name (Jelena Aleksic).
    3. Request for invoice adjustment: Ask to void the original invoice and generate a new one with the updated details.
    4. Wait for approval: The request will require approval from the compliance team, which may take some time depending on the complexity of the changes.

Keep in mind that updating past invoices can be time-consuming, so it's advisable to plan accordingly and follow up if necessary.
