The process of building custom applications and tools that interact with Microsoft SharePoint, including SharePoint Online in Microsoft 365.
Hi @Holly
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
SharePoint isn’t built to be a full Learning Management System. It doesn’t natively support SCORM, which means you can’t track learner progress, scores, or course completions directly within the platform. Key LMS features like enrollment, automated learning paths, and learner analytics are also missing, making SharePoint less suited for managing structured training programs on its own.
However, you can still use SharePoint as a central hub for storing and organizing learning content, while an external LMS handles course delivery, tracking, and SCORM compliance. By integrating your LMS with Viva Learning, you can surface training content directly in Microsoft Teams, creating a seamless learning experience with full tracking and reporting.

I hope this helps.
