About restrictions for uploading assets from non-Microsoft services
Note
- Not everyone can upload assets from Dropbox or Google Drive yet. If you can't, don't worry—it's coming soon!
- Uploading from OneDrive is not currently available, but will be soon.
If you upload assets from a Dropbox or Google Drive business account, your organization may restrict access and will need to unblock you. Here's where you can find more information about unblocking your access:
Google Drive
Some Google accounts may be unable to log in and upload due to administrator-enforced restrictions on app access. Google Workspace and Cloud Identity administrators can configure security policies that restrict or block other applications from using Google OAuth sign-in. If such restrictions are enabled, uploading will be blocked. This is controlled entirely by the organization's Admin Console security settings. For more information, see these pages:
Dropbox
For Dropbox Business and Enterprise accounts, team admins can block other apps. In such cases, individuals can't upload Dropbox files through Microsoft Advertising. This is controlled entirely by the admin and cannot be bypassed by the individual or Microsoft Advertising. For more information, see this page (under "Administrative actions"): Control and Visibility with Dropbox.
