Deceptive products and services

Advertising is not allowed for products and services whose purpose is to enable users to bypass or deceive a public system, regulation, procedure or individual. This type of advertising includes but is not limited to.:

  • Beating Drug Tests: Products that facilitate or promote methods to "beat" a drug test.
  • Bypassing Copyright Protection: Products or services that circumvent copyright protection or disable copyright protection.
  • Cable Descrambling Equipment: Devices that descramble cable or satellite signals.
  • Deepfake Creation Products: Tools that create realistic and deceptive images, audio, text, or video in a person's likeness without their consent, or as a method to defraud people.
  • Essay-Writing Services and Prewritten Essays: Third-party essay writing including prewritten essays.
  • Evading Traffic Tickets: Devices or services designed to evade speed enforcement laws, including laser jammers, license plate sprays, and license plate covers.
  • Fake Diplomas and Education Transcripts: Fake education transcripts or diplomas, or promotion of unaccredited, web-based colleges offering degrees.
  • Fake IDs or Documents: Identification designed to disguise the accurate age, name, or other characteristics of the holder, or documents implying unauthorized resident or legal status.
  • Hacking & Cracking: Sites providing information or services to evade or bypass security systems, or illegally access or tamper with software, servers, or websites.
  • Paid to Click: Sites offering compensation for clicking on ads, offers, or performing web searches.
