Microsoft commits to safeguard individuals, communities, and properties from potential harm. It is our policy to not accept advertising campaigns that facilitate the sale of:
- Fireworks: This includes both consumer fireworks (e.g., sparklers, firecrackers) and display fireworks (e.g., aerial shells, large fireworks used in shows).
- Explosives: Specific types of explosives such as dynamite, TNT, blasting caps, and other similar materials.
- Hazardous Materials: This includes hyper-toxic chemicals, dangerous chemicals, and radioactive substances. Examples include mercury, lead, and asbestos.
- Nuclear Materials: Any materials related to nuclear energy or weapons.
- Pyrotechnic Devices: This includes flares, smoke bombs, and other devices designed to produce visible or audible effects by combustion.
- Biological Hazards: Pathogens, toxins, and other biological hazards that pose a threat to health and safety.
