Microsoft is committed to ensuring that all advertisements comply with legal standards and uphold the highest levels of integrity and trustworthiness.

Therefore, we prohibit advertising for sites or apps that contain unmoderated user-generated content (UGC). This includes, but is not limited to, content that:

  • Lacks Proper Moderation: Platforms or services that do not have adequate measures in place to monitor and remove harmful or inappropriate content.
  • Compromises Privacy: UGC that discloses personal information without consent or violates privacy laws.

Examples of prohibited UGC:

Forums or social media platforms that do not actively moderate user posts for hate speech or illegal activities.

Video-sharing platforms that allow the upload of copyrighted material without proper licensing.
