My company already has well over 5 users using the Business Standard license. What I am wanting to know is, will increasing the limitation from the standard 1TB to 5TB incur any extra monthly cost for our subscription? What about the increase from 5TB to 25TB that I will have to request help from Microsoft to achieve after reaching the 90% storage-used quota of the 5TB amount? I have seen a lot of information on this topic but no real definitive answer of yes or no.

    Hello,

Please see the following documentation for more information:

Set the default storage space for OneDrive users

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/set-default-storage-space

If your organization has a qualifying Microsoft 365 subscription and five (5) or more users, you can change the storage space to more than 5 TB. To discuss your needs, contact Microsoft support. Before requesting an increase you need at least five licenses that include OneDrive Plan 2, you must assign at least one license to a user, and a single user must have already filled 90% of their 5 TB storage. The new storage limit is applied the next time a user accesses OneDrive.

In accordance to the document, you can raise your limit from 1 TB to 5 TB (no price is mentioned, meaning if you meet the requirements, you will get the raised limit).

If you do not see the option I'd recommend you raise a ticket in Microsoft 365 Admin Center:

    Hi @Blerk81

If you have Microsoft 365 Business Standard subscription, according to the link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/onedrive/compare-onedrive-plans?activetab=tab:primaryr2, the OneDrive storage incoulded in this subscription product is 1TB per user. It is not one of qualifying plans for subscriptions that have Unlimited individual cloud storage.

The following image is taken from the link.

But if you have the subscription that include OneDrive for Business (Plan 2) or SharePoint Plan 2, please refer to Dillon Silzer's reply first.
