Dear Master Chief,
Thank you for posting your question in Microsoft Q&A Forum.
I understand you are having trouble accessing your Outlook account. I know how stressful it can be to lose access, especially if the account contains important information.
Unfortunately, as Microsoft External Staff, I do not have access to tools that allow us to reset passwords or bypass account security. For privacy and security reasons, the only way to recover a personal Outlook account (e.g., @outlook.com, @hotmail.com) is by submitting the Microsoft Account Recovery Form: Recover your account
Please fill out the form with as much accurate information as possible. Please follow the instructions below carefully to give yourself the best chance of success when completing the form. Help with the Microsoft account recovery form - Microsoft Support
If you are unable to complete the recovery form, please contact Microsoft Support so that a support agent can step in and help resolve the issue.
- Go to Contact - Microsoft Support
- Search for "Account Recovery" in the search box.
- Click "Get Help" and press Enter.
- Navigate through the support options to find "Contact Support."
- Choose a relevant option like “Manage Account Security.”
- For product/service, select "Other Products"
- For category, choose "Manage Account Security"
- Look for and select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" or a similar callback option.
- Clearly explain your situation
If your recovery attempts have failed, you should contact Microsoft Support directly and provide proof of ownership, such as:
- Purchase receipts (e.g., for Minecraft, Xbox, or Microsoft Store),
- Screenshots showing account activity (e.g., Xbox, Skype),
- Billing information previously linked to the account.
I truly hope you are able to recover your account soon. I'm here to support you with any questions or concerns you may have along the way.
