Otherwise, there are some alternative options for you:

• USB-C to DisplayPort Adapter. If your external display supports DisplayPort, this is often more stable and supports higher refresh rates.
• Surface Dock or USB-C Hub with HDMI. Multi-port hubs (Thunderbolt 4) can provide HDMI plus extra USB ports and charging. Look for hubs labeled “Designed for Surface” for best compatibility.
• Wireless Option. Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter (requires Miracast support on the display). Ideal for cable-free setups but less reliable for presentations compared to wired.
