I cannot call the Customer Support line one more time. I've done it approximately 11 times and your robot cannot help me. I need a human representative to speak with me on the phone. Tell me how I can make that happen.

    Dear @Allie Luisi,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. I understand your frustration. Although, as a moderator, I'm not directly responding to customer calls with problems, I can offer you strategic guidance on how to contact a real person in Microsoft Support. This is a common problem, and the key is understanding the prompts and steps to bypass the automated system.

Select 1: Contact Microsoft support by phone

If you are unable to access the Microsoft 365 admin center, you can contact Microsoft Support directly.

Find the appropriate phone number for your region here: Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support

To help you navigate the automated phone system (IVR), here’s an example of how the conversation might go:

    • IVR: What kind of problem are you concerned about?
You: (Your issue you want discuss - example: MFA...)
    • IVR: What kind of product do you use?
      You: Office 365 for business
    • IVR: Education or business account?
      You: For business
    • IVR: Are you an administrator?
      You: Yes
    • IVR: Do you have another administrator in your organization?
      You: No
    • IVR: Do you need a service request?
      You: Yes

This should help you get connected to a live support agent who can assist you directly.

Select 2: If you are using a Microsoft 365 account provided by your work or school (not a Personal or Family subscription), the procedure is different and must be done by an Admin:

    • You Must Contact Your Admin: Microsoft's policy for business accounts is that non-admin users must go through their internal IT support or Microsoft 365 Administrator.
    • Admin Steps to Create a Ticket: The Administrator must sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, navigate to Support > Help & support, and then create a new service request. The business support team will then call the admin regarding the ticket.

By using the official online portal to request a call back, you are following the prescribed method that should lead you directly to a human agent, minimizing time wasted with the automated phone tree.

If your organization's Office 365 Business/Education subscription is from a partner or reseller, and the global administrator is unable to open a service request on your end, contact the reseller's support provider to help open a service request on behalf of you instead.

I hope this direct path resolves the core issue. Please update the thread with the outcome so the community can benefit from your experience.

To speak with a human representative at Microsoft, you can follow these steps:

    1. Visit the Admin Center: Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center at admin.cloud.microsoft. If you encounter a permission issue, it may indicate that you are not an admin.
    2. Access Help & Support: On the bottom right side of the page, select Help & support.
    3. Search for Your Issue: Type your question or keyword into the text box. If the results do not help, look for the Contact Support option at the bottom.
    4. Provide Your Details: Enter a description of your issue, confirm your contact information, select your preferred contact method, and then select Contact me. The expected wait time will be indicated in the Contact support pane.

If you prefer phone support, you can also check the global phone numbers list for your region, as technical support is available in English 24/7 in most areas.
