If your wireless Bluetooth device shows as paired but you can't hear any sound, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check Default Playback Device: Ensure that your Bluetooth device is set as the default playback device. You can do this by right-clicking the sound icon in the system tray, selecting "Playback devices," and then ensuring your Bluetooth device is set as default.
- Update Bluetooth Drivers: Make sure your Bluetooth drivers are up to date. You can check for updates in Device Manager under the Bluetooth section. Right-click on your Bluetooth adapter and select "Update driver."
- Check Volume Levels: Ensure that the volume on both your PC and the Bluetooth device is turned up and not muted.
- Restart Bluetooth Device: Sometimes, simply turning off and then turning on your Bluetooth device can resolve connectivity issues.
- Run Audio Troubleshooter: Since you've already run the Bluetooth troubleshooter, you might also want to run the audio troubleshooter. Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters, and find the audio troubleshooter to run it.
- Check for Interference: Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices connected that might be causing interference. Disconnect any other Bluetooth devices that might be connected to your PC.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider checking if the Bluetooth device works with another computer or device to rule out hardware problems.
