When you subscribe to Microsoft 365, that licence is linked to the Microsoft account used as a digital licence and there is no method provided to move that to another Microsoft account.

The only option would be to use the steps on this link to check your eligibility for a refund and cancel the subscription, then take out a new subscription on the correct Microsoft account.

Microsoft accounts and their subscriptions cannot be merged or moved between different sign-in email addresses. A Microsoft 365 subscription is tied to the specific Microsoft account used when it was purchased or renewed.

In this case, the renewal made with the new Gmail-based Microsoft account cannot be transferred to the old Outlook.com-based Microsoft account. The Outlook.com account’s subscription can only be renewed from within that same Outlook.com Microsoft account.

If access to the old Outlook.com account is still needed, sign in to that account and purchase/renew a subscription there separately. The subscription already renewed under the Gmail account will remain associated with that Gmail Microsoft account.

To verify which account currently has an active subscription:

    1. Go to the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions or Subscriptions page and sign in with the Gmail address.
    2. Confirm that Microsoft 365 is active there.
    3. Sign out, then repeat with the Outlook.com address to see that its subscription is expired.

If billing or duplicate-charge concerns exist, contact Microsoft Support or the retailer used for purchase to review options such as cancellation or refund, where applicable.
