Dear Microsoft Rewards Support Team,

Good day.

I am writing to report an issue regarding a recent redemption I made through Microsoft Rewards. I attempted to redeem a Robux reward (800 Robux), and although I was initially informed that the order would be processed within 24 hours, I later received an email stating that the order had been voided due to an issue.

However, despite the order being voided, my Microsoft Rewards points have already been deducted and have not yet been returned to my account. The email says my points were not impacted, but they were deducted.

I would like to kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. Specifically, I would appreciate it if you could:

  1. Verify the status of my order, and
  2. Restore the deducted points to my account as soon as possible.

For your reference, here are the details of my transaction:

  • Reward: 800 Robux
  • Date of redemption: [moderator's note: PII removed]
  • Order ID: [moderator's note: PII removed]
  • Microsoft account email: [moderator's note: PII removed]@gmail.com

I hope for your prompt assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you very much for your time and support.

    Hello Edjelyn Reyes

Thank you for sharing the details. I understand how frustrating this situation is, especially when a large amount of Microsoft Rewards points is involved and it takes significant time and effort to earn them.

For cases where an order is voided but points appear deducted, you might need to contact Microsoft Rewards Support team to review and correct the points balance if needed. You can submit a support request here:

Based on the available information, Rewards orders that are cancelled or voided can be reversed by Microsoft Rewards support, and points may be refunded if the reward is unavailable or there is an issue with the order.

The appropriate next step is to contact Microsoft Rewards Support so the Rewards team can review the specific order ID and correct the point balance if needed. Use the dedicated Rewards support channel and include:

    • Order ID of the voided reward
    • Date and type of reward (Roblox Digital Card – 800 Robux)
    • Description that the order was voided but 12,800 points were deducted and not returned
    • Any screenshots of the order page, email stating the order was voided, and current points balance

The Rewards team can then either:

    • Refund the points to the Microsoft Rewards balance, or
    • Re‑issue the reward if appropriate, in line with the Microsoft Rewards refund and exchange policy, which allows a refund or substitution when a reward is out of stock or unavailable.

If the issue is related to cancellation reasons such as region, VPN, or phone verification, also review the guidance in the Rewards help articles and ensure future redemptions are made without VPN/VoIP and within the correct region.
