    Hello Jashan Kakkar,

I see that you are having Office LTSC 2024 Activation Issue. Let me assist you go through this situation.

Based on your description, after reinstalling Windows 11, your Office LTSC 2024 is installed but won’t activate with the product key. This can happen because Office LTSC uses Volume Activation (MAK or KMS) and cannot be activated the same way as Office Home/Business or Microsoft 365. Here is my suggestion for you:

Activate Microsoft Office LTSC 2024 using a MAK (product key)

Office LTSC 2024 activation does not use a Microsoft account sign‑in. It must be activated with MAK or KMS. Step 1: Open an Office app

    1. Open Word or Excel
    2. Select File > Account

Step 2: Try activating with Change Product Key

    1. Under Product Information, select Change Product Key
    2. Enter your 25‑character MAK key
    3. Close the app and reopen it

If it activates, you’re done. If activation fails: Activate via Command Prompt, try this:

Step 3: Open Command Prompt as admin

    1. Right‑select Start
    2. Select Windows Terminal (Admin) or Command Prompt (Admin)

Step 4: Go to the Office activation folder

Use one of these (depending on your install):

    cd "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16"

or (32‑bit Office on 64‑bit Windows):

    cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16"

Step 5: Install your MAK key

    Replace XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX with your key:

    cscript ospp.vbs /inpkey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

    Step 6: Activate Office

    cscript ospp.vbs /act

    You should see“Product activation successful”.

I hope this will help with your situation. Please feel free to reach back if you have further update or more questions.

    Best Regards,

For Office LTSC 2024 that does not activate after a fresh Windows 11 install, the behavior strongly suggests a volume license (LTSC) key that is either invalid, blocked, or already used up.

Based on the provided information and similar LTSC 2024 cases:

    1. Office LTSC Professional Plus/Standard 2024 is distributed only via volume licensing to organizations, not to individual/home users. Any LTSC “Professional Plus 2024” or “lifetime” key sold to a consumer (often via third‑party sites, marketplaces, or email) is typically a resold volume license and violates Microsoft licensing terms.
    2. Volume license keys (especially MAK keys) have an activation limit. Once that limit is reached, new activations fail with messages that the key has already been used or has reached its activation limit.
    3. If the key is blocked, invalid, or over its activation limit, activation cannot be fixed on the client side. The only resolution is through the legitimate license owner (the organization that owns the volume license) or by obtaining a genuine license.

    Recommended actions:

    1. If the license was obtained from an employer/organization:
      • Contact the organization’s IT administrator or licensing admin and provide the exact error message.
      • The admin must confirm whether the LTSC 2024 volume license is valid and whether the MAK/KMS activation is still available and correctly configured.
    2. If the license/key was purchased from a third‑party seller (online marketplace, key shop, etc.):
      • Treat this as likely an unauthorized or fraudulent volume license resale.
      • Contact the seller and request a refund, explaining that the LTSC 2024 key cannot be activated.
      • Do not rely on keys delivered via unofficial downloads (for example, links hosted on personal cloud storage) or labeled as “Professional Plus 2024 lifetime” for home use.
    3. If a valid Office license is still needed on the new Windows 11 installation:
      • Purchase a genuine Office license (for example, Microsoft 365 or a supported perpetual Office version) through official Microsoft channels or reputable retailers.

If the activation error explicitly states that the product key is not valid or has already been used/has reached its limit, there is no supported way to “reset” or reuse that LTSC 2024 key outside the organization that owns the volume license.
