    Hi @Tilford, Dolores A

Thank you for reaching out regarding the persistent issues with the paste options in Microsoft Teams.

I would like to inform you that Microsoft has officially acknowledged this behavior and indicated that a fix was previously rolled out. However, despite this update, I am still receiving some reports from users stating that the issue remains unresolved on their end.

While the engineering team investigates these ongoing inconsistencies, the most reliable workaround currently available is to use standard keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + V for Windows or Command + V for macOS rather than relying on the right-click context menu. To ensure the product team gives this matter the necessary priority, I strongly advise that you continue to report the problem directly within the Teams application by selecting Help > Give feedback.

Additionally, I would like to share a tip if you use Teams on the web: after highlighting or selecting the content you would like to copy, please use the small Copy icon that appears automatically near the selected text. When this method is used, the original formatting is typically preserved, including hyperlinks, rich text or HTML formatting, and table structures.

Please note that this floating toolbar is currently available only in Teams for the web and is not yet supported in the Teams desktop application. Using Teams on the web or continuing to use Ctrl + C, based on what best fits your workflow, may help ensure the expected results.

I understand how disruptive it is when essential tools do not function as expected, impacting your daily productivity and appreciate your patience and your diligence in reporting these issues as the team works toward a stable resolution.

Additionally, as others may share these concerns but not know where to report them, please mark this as the "Accepted Answer" if it was helpful. This pins the post to the top, helping the community find and support your report more easily.

There is a known issue with the Paste option in the latest Microsoft Teams app for Windows where the right‑click Paste and related options (including paste as plain text) may not work reliably.

As a workaround until the fix is released, use the keyboard shortcut instead of the context menu:

    • Press Ctrl + V to paste content into Teams.

This should work even when the menu-based Paste options are not functioning.

If the problem persists after the fix is released, update the Teams app to the latest version and restart it, then test pasting again.
