    Hello

Go to HP's website for this model, download and install this driver: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/swdetails/hp-envy-6400e-all-in-one-printer-series/model/2100187516/swItemId/mp-309230-19

Then see if it helps with the connection.

Note: This is not Microsoft website/URL, but it is the official OEM/manufacturer site.

Follow these steps in order on the Windows laptop that can’t see the HP Envy 6455e.

    1. Run the Windows printer troubleshooter (Windows 10)
      • Open the Get Help app and run the automated printer troubleshooter. It will run diagnostics and try to fix most printer problems.
      • If it doesn’t fix the issue, continue with the steps below.
    2. Power-cycle the printer
      • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
      • Wait at least 30 seconds.
      • Plug it back in and turn it on.
    3. Make sure the printer is on the same Wi‑Fi network as the laptop
      • On the printer’s control panel, open the wireless/network menu and check that it is connected to Wi‑Fi.
      • Confirm the Wi‑Fi name (SSID) matches the one the laptop is using.
      • If needed, use the printer’s menu or setup instructions to reconnect it to the correct Wi‑Fi.
    4. Check the connection type
      • If using Wi‑Fi: ensure the printer’s wireless option is turned on and available (many printers show a blue wireless icon when enabled).
      • If using USB: make sure the USB cable is firmly connected to both printer and PC.
    5. Set the printer as the default and clear “offline”
      • Select Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices (or Devices) > Printers & scanners.
      • Select the HP Envy 6455e.
      • If available, select Set as default.
      • Open the printer’s queue (Open queue / Open print queue), then on the menu:
        • Clear Use Printer Offline and Pause Printing if they are selected.
    6. Clear the print queue
      • In Printers & scanners, select the HP Envy 6455e and choose Open queue / Open print queue.
      • Select any documents listed and cancel them (or choose > Cancel all).
    7. Restart the Print Spooler service
      • In the taskbar search box, type services and open Services.
      • Find Print Spooler.
      • Right‑click Print Spooler and select Restart.
    8. Remove and reinstall the printer
      • Go to Start > Settings > Devices or Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
      • Select the HP Envy 6455e and choose Remove device, then Yes.
      • Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to Wi‑Fi.
      • In Printers & scanners, select Add a printer or scanner and follow the prompts to add the HP Envy 6455e again.
    9. Restart the PC
      • Restart the laptop after completing the steps above, then try printing a test page.
