    Hello Rohan Islam,

To point you in the right direction, a couple of details would really help — could you share the exact error message Minecraft is showing when you try to sign in, which edition you're on (Java, Bedrock, or the unified Minecraft Launcher), and what device you're playing on?

As a quick sanity check in the meantime, try signing into https://account.microsoft.com with the same email and password. If that works fine, the Microsoft account itself is healthy and the issue is more likely on the Minecraft launcher side (a token or cache problem), which is usually fixed by signing out of the launcher and back in, or reinstalling it. If the account sign-in itself fails or asks for verification, that points back to account recovery instead.

Also worth knowing — a generic "error" message at sign-in usually isn't a sign of a fresh compromise, so try not to worry about that part until we see the actual wording.

Use the Microsoft account sign-in troubleshooting steps, since Minecraft sign-in uses the same Microsoft account system.

    1. Run the Sign-in Helper
      • Go to the Microsoft Sign-in Helper.
      • Enter the email or phone number used for the Minecraft Microsoft account.
      • Follow the guided steps; it will detect common problems and show what to do next.
    2. Check if the password or username stopped working
      • If the account details are correct but no longer work, use the Recover your account flow described in My username and password have stopped working:
        • Go to Recover your account.
        • Enter the email, phone, or Skype name used for Minecraft.
        • Choose where to receive the security code, enter it, then set a new password.
      • Ensure the correct email domain is used (for example, .com vs .co.uk) and that the email name is typed correctly.
    3. If the account might be blocked due to unusual activity
      • If Microsoft detected unusual sign-in attempts, sign in to the Security basics page and select Review activity to confirm recent sign-ins.
      • If any sign-in was not done by the account owner, mark it as This wasn't me or Secure your account as described in What happens if there's an unusual sign-in to your account.
    4. If sign-in still fails
      • Follow the guidance in I can't sign in to my Microsoft account:

If there is any suspicion the account was ever compromised (even if now believed not hacked), follow the compromised-account guidance in How to recover a hacked or compromised Microsoft account to secure it before trying to sign in to Minecraft again.
