MS Teams Not working on macOS Sequoia 15.0

Hi,

I have upgraded to the new macOS Sequoia 15.0, and now my MS Teams is not working. It won't load photos, share my screen, or allow me to see others' screens. It sometimes sporadically works. I've tried restarting, uninstalling, and reinstalling, but no luck.

    Update - Workaround found :

    1) Remove old Teams

    (use sudo su - )

    pkill -f MSTeams
    sudo rm -rf /Applications/Microsoft\ Teams\ (work\ or\ school).app
    rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Microsoft/Teams
    rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/com.microsoft.teams
    rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/com.microsoft.teams.shipit
    rm -rf ~/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.teams.plist
    rm -rf ~/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.teams.helper.plist
    rm -rf ~/Library/Saved\ Application\ State/com.microsoft.teams.savedState

    rm -rf ~/.Trash/*
    killall Finder

    1. (Re-) Install using Homwbrew

    (optionnal) /bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)" brew install --cask microsoft-teams

    THat's all folks :p

    open -a "Microsoft Teams"

    Hi Connery,

    I have tried this along with uninstalling, reinstalling, and clearing the registry, but still no luck. Everything was working before the upgrade to macOS 15.0, which I believe is the root cause of the issue.

    Same story for me

    • Before the OS Upgrade : Works like a charm
    • After the OS upgrade : Teams Crash
    • Tested the clean procédure : Failed - Still crash
    • Try to reinstall : unable to run the install .pkg

    Of course the Teams on web still works
